Vizulate is delighted to announce our sponsorship of Brighouse Town AFC Women’s captain Lucy Webb for the 2023/24 season.

Speaking about the player sponsorship, Vizulate Managing Director Scott Brant said: “As a Brighouse-based business it makes sense for us to sponsor a player at Brighouse Town AFC Women. And when the opportunity to sponsor the team captain, Lucy Webb, came up, it was a ‘no brainier’ for us.

“We have clients all over the country but actually not that many based locally and regionally. This is surprising when you consider what a vibrant business hub Brighouse is. 

“We are hoping the sponsorship will increase our brand awareness locally and connect us to other potential clients and suppliers through the club’s corporate partner events.”

The sponsorship of Webb, who plays as a defender for the club, strikes a chord with Scott personally too.

He is extremely passionate about women’s football, particularly at grass roots level, and currently coaches his daughter’s local Under 9’s girls team – the same club where Lucy began her own football career.

“Girls and women’s football has enjoyed phenomenal growth over the last few years thanks to the recent success of the England Lionesses, and the enhanced media coverage of the WSL. But there is so much more to do” said Scott. 

He continued: “The work that goes on in the girls’ & women’s game at the amateur and grass-roots levels is phenomenal and is mostly done by volunteers. Brighouse Town AFC Women is a prime example of that. So from a personal point of view it’s nice to be able to offer some financial support.

“It’s just an added bonus that as ‘web’ specialists we have chosen to sponsor Lucy ‘Webb’!”
