Custom website & Google Ads campaign generates £2m in revenue
Opus 4 is an award-winning office design and fit out company based in the Northwest. They help companies primarily in the north of England but also throughout the UK, who are looking to refurbish their existing office space or relocate to new premises.
Referred to us by an existing client, Opus 4 recognised that their in-house marketing strategy wasn’t working and needed to increase their inbound enquiries for businesses looking to redesign and fit out their office space.
Global pandemic & a static website.
The Challenges
We were appointed by Opus 4 in February 2020 to bring in more office fit out enquiries. A month later the Covid-19 pandemic struck; forcing most office workers to work from home. Businesses worldwide hailed it as ‘The death of the office’.
In addition to this, Opus 4 had an existing website that was built on a static, inflexible platform that did not rank well in search engines and did not generate leads even when traffic had been driven to the site during previous digital marketing campaigns.
This was compounded by the fact that Opus 4 was paying a significant monthly premium just to be able to continue using the website platform – a platform that clearly wasn’t working for them.

Our Solution
We recommended using Pay Per Click (PPC) advertising, specifically Google Ads, to ensure Opus 4 could be found online by businesses looking for their services.
This meant carrying out keyword research for their existing target keywords as well as new keywords that were emerging as a result of the pandemic and the shifting office-working landscape, such as; ‘hybrid office design’ and ‘agile working fit out’.
However, to ensure a maximum return on their investment in Google Ads, we recommended that the website needed to have optimal landing pages to showcase their expertise and to convert the lead when a user did arrive on their website via a Google Ad.
We recommended that we design and build a custom website that would require an upfront investment but would not require an ongoing monthly fee simply to continue using the platform. This would also allow us to create a more fluid design in which we could utilise their fantastic imagery and create optimised landing pages for the Google Ads campaign.

The Result
As well as reflecting the monumental culture change in office working, Opus 4’s new website needed to be as unique as the workspaces they create.
In designing and developing their new website we incorporated slick onscreen animations, cinemagraphs, high quality imagery and video, and micro-interactions to create an engaging website for what Opus are all about – people.
A Google Ads campaign was launched on the back of the new website which succeeded in increasing the number of inbound enquiries.
As of January 2022, Opus are well on their way to achieving £2m in new business revenue as a direct result of Google Ads alone since the new website went live.
