This week we launched a new website to promote the latest version of our Sage 50 and WooCommerce integration solution; Woosage.
The Woosage product, which having been launched six years ago now has over 100 customers, has been continually developed with many new features added during this period, but the latest version is a completely new product, having being re-built from scratch.
The new product, called Woosage50 allows ecommerce businesses who use WooCommerce for their ecommerce website, and Sage 50 Accounts software for their accounting needs, to automatically sync orders, stock, customers, products and prices, between the two systems so that data only has to be maintained in a single source and to avoid time-consuming and error-prone data entry.
Woosage50, which will continue to be available in two variants; Essentials & Professional, will have a host of new features, including:
- Improved user experience
- Separation of the product update process from order processing & stock updates
- In-built scheduler for both processes
- Improved reporting of exceptions
- Additional product & customer data added
Speaking about the launch of Woosage50, Vizulate Director Mick Brant, who oversees Woosage product development said: “Over the years Woosage has proven to be a very simple but effective product for our clients.
“However, during the six years we have been developing and supporting Woosage we have identified ways in which performance, usability and support could be improved, but not without completely rebuilding the product, which has also provided an opportunity to add a range of new features that clients have requested.
“Woosage50 has been in development for nearly 12 months and the scale of the development demonstrates our commitment to the product, and to Sage 50 Accounts, which many clients are heavily invested in.”
All new customers to the Woosage product will be onboarded to the brand new version, while existing Woosage customers will be migrated to the new version over the coming months by our support team.
